Union Carpenters Drive Progress at 662 Pacific Street’s Integrated Middle School

Construction continues at 662 Pacific Street on the public middle school, which is integrated into the 209,451-square-foot Plank Road residential building. Union contractors and carpenters from the New York City District Council of Carpenters have progressed well on the work they have been doing on the interiors of the residential development and the five-story middle school located there. Once completed, the 69,858-square-foot middle school will accommodate over 600 students, supporting the education of future generations for years to come. The expert skills of union contractors and carpenters who have dedicated significant effort to this work are crucial to realizing this important project for the community and its future students.
