CCA Metro, on behalf of union carpenters and contractors in NYC, has donated 2,500 turkeys and served hundreds of meals to local residents in partnership with elected officials, community organizations, and faith-based institutions in the last week. We’re thankful to have had the opportunity to serve the communities where we live and build and because philanthropy and volunteering are fundamental values to us. Thank you to the staff of CCA Metro and the NYC & Vicinity District Council of Carpenters, and to all of the union members and others, whose time and dedication went into this year’s Thanksgiving-Back!
The Javits Center hosts some of the largest and most unique conventions and expos in the country. To make them happen, companies rely on the great skill and safety standards that union contractors and the New York City District Council of Carpenters provide. The Javits Center is home to the famous New York City Comic Con and as usual union carpenters brought their best. The show was a great success with unique exhibits that were #UnionBuilt.
